To a Jarrah forrest.

I have spent much time in this forest and I must have taken hundreds of photos but have kept very few them. The fact is for me at any rate, it is difficult to make a good photograph of chaos. I’m starting this series of photographs now because in the forest of Western Australia it is high summer. The average day time temperature is 30 degC but it can and does get much hotter, it can on occasion reach 46 degC and on those days the leaves fall off the eucalyptus trees and appear almost as large snowflakes…. It is the start of a the forests new year cycle.
