When I shot this edgescape I had sun glasses on and they are polarised so as I composed the image I was aware of this and just expected the blue to be lighter in the finished image. T’was a real surprize when I downloaded it with the other images shot that day that the skies were as deeper blue as I remembered eventhough the camera had no polariser mounted. I am finding more and more that Panasonic’s Nano coatings are incredibly resistant to flare. I have lenses that if used for this shot would have been flared over with aperture circles scattered about thus changing the image. Sometimes it works like this image of a bromeliad flower most times its a nuisence.
